Fast FINS Bronze
Student Age: 6 years and olderClass Duration: 45 Minutes
Entrance Requirements:
Entrance Requirements: Successful completion of Dolphin FINS or evaluation by FINS Supervisor for advanced placement. Anyone under the age of 6 will require special permission to enter a FastFINS Bronze class.
Description of Program:
FastFINS Bronze embodies the same technique driven base that all previous FINS levels have, but this time from a competitive angle. FFB will be coached by one of FINS highly trained coaches at a ratio of 8 to 1.
Students will continue to grow in their swimming skills, working on freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. In addition to the technique being taught on the four strokes, there will be considerable time spent on teaching the proper technique for underwater kicking, starts, turns and finishes. Generally, 70-80% of the class time will be spent on the techniques described above, with the remainder of the time spent building swimming stamina through workout sets designed by the coaching staff.
Strenuous exercise will be a part of this program, so please make sure your child is prepared for this. Doctors permission may be required.
Fast FINS Silver
Student Age: 10 years and underClass Duration: 45 Minutes
Entrance Requirements:
Successful completion of FastFINS Bronze or evaluation by FINS Supervisor for advanced placement.
Description of Program:
FastFINS Silver is a pre-competitive class designed for swimmers who desire to reach a year round swim team level or who simply desire to reach the next level of technique and speed in the sport of swimming. FFS will be coached by one of FINS highly trained coaches at a ration of 8 to 1. Additional emphasis will be placed on the swimming strength and stamina that will be required in upper level swim team workouts. The FFS swimmers will be introduced to additional swimming equipment as well as test set requirements necessary to fulfill team placement criteria. Generally, 30-40% of class time will be used on technique drills with 60-70% of the time used for workout sets.

Fast FINS Gold
Student Age: 11 years and olderClass Duration: 45 Minutes
